CEO Message
The background to the establishment of our company, "KAMIKAZE TRADING CO. LLC," was a strong question that I had while working in the automobile trade in Africa. That question was, "Why is it that while businessmen from China and Korea are constantly setting foot on African soil and boldly expanding their businesses, there are hardly any Japanese people to be seen?"
In the 1980s, Japan made its name known around the world, and pioneers full of entrepreneurial spirit were actively investing overseas and continuing to take on new challenges. However, that image has now almost completely disappeared, and I felt a strong sense of crisis that the country may have become isolated on the world stage.
Japanese products are still highly regarded for their quality, but the days when "good quality sells" are coming to an end. Currently, products from other countries offer equal or higher quality, and Japan's market share is gradually being taken away. There is a sense of crisis that if things continue this way, Japanese products will no longer stand out in the global market.
However, if you take a step abroad, you can meet people who understand and respect Japanese culture and spirit more than Japanese people do. Although Japan is blessed with very favorable conditions, the reality is that it is not making the most of them. This "weapon" is an asset built up by our predecessors, and we have a responsibility to protect its value and make it even stronger.
It is said that the Mongol Invasion, the only war of aggression in Japan's history, was overcome by a divine wind. Our company will become a divine wind for modern Japan, and will fully support Japanese companies expanding overseas.
